Fathom and Centaur owners are now benefiting from the excellent reproduction playfields available for those games.  They were manufactured with painstaking attention to detail, but one noticeable difference is the much lighter color of the blue inserts.  These stick-on filters do a nice job of deepening the blue color of the insert when it is illuminated.  They are precision pre-cut to the exact sizes required.  All you do is peel the appropriate shape filter off the backing paper and apply it to the underside of the insert.  Press it down with a cotton-tipped swab and you're done.

Filter sets are available for Fathom and Centaur.  Each set includes a few extras just in case.  Below are pictures showing an original Fathom playfield, the repro Fathom playfield without the color filters, and the repro Fathom playfield with the filters installed.  Due to the difficult lighting conditions (i.e. photographing a light bulb head-on), the photos don't completely show how well the color filters do the job.
